We were lucky enough to get invited to their Tuna showcase for their grand opening event and what an amazing event it was! 200 pound Bluefin tuna caught within 48 hours and flown in for Chef Robin to carve and for us to enjoy (Check out our TikTok video -@CLTGuide- of the carving)
Our Bluefin sashimi tasting consisted of:
Lean darker akami
Medium fatty ootoro
Fatty tuna kamatoro melted in your mouth
The Truffle & Lotus roll which was eel and avocado topped with seared salmon belly, truffle oil, sichimi, fried lotus root and eel sauce. That crunch and flavor was just perfect!
Mongolian Trio made with tender beef, chicken and shrimp over a bed of rice. The sauce was the perfect mixture of sweet and salty.
Unique and a favorite offering is their sake flights. Try three 2-ounce pours of junmai or nigori sakes (or all 6 like we did)!
