Celebrate Charlotte’s food and beverage scene at the third annual Charlotte StrEATs Festival this April! The festival will return with a new event focused on North Carolina regional wine and cuisines, StrEATs Uncorked. Charlotte StrEATs is part of Charlotte SHOUT! presented by Atrium Health and Bank of America.
Charlotte StrEATs Tasting Tour: On Saturday, April 13th, festival-goers will taste their way through Charlotte’s iconic neighborhoods. This is a ticketed, 21+ event that will include tastes from 20 restaurants, cooking demonstrations, craft cocktails created by your favorite Charlotte mixologists, and live music. The event will take place at Gateway Village in the heart of Uptown.
Tickets are on sale now! General Admission tickets are $95 and are all-inclusive. Upgrade to VIP to get one-hour early access, an official StrEATs Cookbook that features recipes from participating restaurants, and a StrEATs tote bag full of goodies. PLUS! Ticket prices will increase by $10 on April 1st as a Charlottean Procrastinator Tax.
Charlotte StrEATs Festival: The main event is free and open to the public on Sunday, April 14th – also at Gateway Village. The festival will feature the area’s top local food and beverage vendors, a celebrity Food Network chef (to be announced soon!), music, art, and more. We will also have wristbands available to participate in our popular craft cocktail tasting.
Attendees can purchase food from our dream food truck lineup: Katsu Kart, Ve-Go Food Truck, CFT Bistro, Boujee Soul Food Truck, and Cutting Board CLT.
StrEATs is also bringing back the Neighborhood Cook-off! These battles will pit chefs head-to-head in a cook-off to win the title of StrEATs Neighborhood Champion.
StrEATs Uncorked: NEW THIS YEAR! Charlotte SHOUT’s signature food festival is expanding this year to bring a taste of North Carolina’s diverse wines and cuisines to Uptown Charlotte.
The event will feature four wine regions and four Carolina cuisines, with tastings of each, including the Yadkin Valley and Swan Creek AVAs, Appalachian cooking, and fish camp fare. More information to be announced soon.
